Data feedback

– Reach
– Transmitting signal strength
– Status of the machine function
– Customer-specific feedback information and logos on request

LBT frequency search

When switching on or switching to another frequency, the system checks whether the frequency channel used is occupied by other transmitters. If this is the case, the next frequency channel is checked until it is ensured that the transmitter can operate without interference. LBT is the abbreviation for ‘Listen before Talk’.

Design as cable desk

For radio-critical work areas, the control unit can be supplied on request, not as a transmitter but as a cable console with the same functional equipment.

Practical carrying system

Standard:
– Abdominal belt (order no.: 3.320.1016)

– Back carrying strap (order no.: 3.320.1015)

Description

The explosion-protected Nano-magna Ex joystick transmitter can be used in zones 1 and 2 with gas explosion hazards. This makes it the perfect transmitter in the offshore area.

The Nano-magna Ex is the largest representative of our explosion-protected safety radio remote controls. The particularly large housing offers space for the maximum number of operating elements such as up to 8 single-axis and 4 two-axis joysticks. In addition, toggle switches, rotary switches and buttons can also be integrated. Due to the multitude of possibilities and control elements, the Nano-magna is also suitable for extremely complex applications.

On request, the Nano-magna Ex can be equipped with a 4.3 inch LC display – including integration of the customer-specific design. The high-resolution display shows the information that is necessary for you and the safety of your employees. Turn the Nano-magna into your wireless remote control and place your logo on the back of the display!

Thanks to the patented SMJ technology, the joysticks can be replaced by operators themselves during service. The exchange is so easy that no staff training or special tools are required! The housing remains closed throughout, so that no protective measures against contamination need to be taken. Thanks to this patented technology, the complete system is completely ready for use again with just a few simple steps.

Technologies

SMJ

Surface Mounted Joysticks (SMJ) allow for a defective joystick to be replaced without having to open the transmitter. Joysticks can be replaced directly on-site while the housing remains completely sealed, minimizing the risk of damage or contamination. [More Information]

NBB IECEx ATEX

IECEx / ATEX

If transmitters are to be used in potentially explosive environments, appropriate technical precautions must be taken. The Planar-B1 and -B2 EX transmitters have been specially developed and certified for such applications.  [More Information]

Teach-In

The Teach-In adjustment feature allows for customized response for each joystick for optimum safety and performance. Several adjustments can be made to each individual motion such as min/max values and joystick deadband adjustment.  [More Information]

multi_user_system_technologie-nbb_funkfernsteuerungen

Multi-User System

Multi-user-system capabilities allow for radio communications between combinations of transmitters and receivers. One transmitter can work with several receivers, several transmitters can work with one receiver or combinations of transmitters and receivers working together is possible. Failsafe measures can be put in place to ensure only one operator is controlling the machine at any given time.  [More Information]

NBB battery system

NBB battery system

NBB rechargeable batteries have a high energy density. NBB chargers use a thermally monitored high current charging cycle that optimizes charging and prevents overcharging.  [More Information]

Radiokey

Radiokey

The Radiokey is an RFID device that stores parameters such as the safety code and configuration information. Removing the Radiokey from the original transmitter and inserting it into a replacement transmitter configures the replacement transmitter for immediate use and deactivates the original transmitter.  [More Information]

LBT frequency search

LBT frequency search

With the Listen before Talk (LBT) feature, when the transmitter is switched on or when the frequency is changed, the transmitter checks to see whether the frequency channel is occupied by other RF sources. If the channel is occupied, the next frequency channel is automatically selected and checked until a clear frequency channel is found.   [More Information]

Data feedback

Data feedback

Information during operation via an LED or LCD display is possible including signal strength, machine function status or customized customer-specific information and company logos. Feedback alerts via a buzzer are also available.  [More Information]
